Sphere Entertainment -- the creation of Stephens grad Patricia Benay Silver, '70 -- kicked off its 25th anniversary celebrations with a visit to the White House on Easter Monday. Silver (BFA/piano, violin) brought the story of Babar the Elephant to life on the White House lawn, delighting hundreds of kids & their parents at the annual White House Easter Egg Roll. Sphere manages the Babar appearances and shows for North America, and Pat was on hand to work with the White House crew. The Babar books are recommended reading on the First Lady's national reading initiative list.
